Vanessa Birchler

Vanessa Birchler joined the New Baden Jaycees in January of 2007. Vanessa held numerous roles at the local level including Management Vice President, Treasurer and Local President in 2008 – 2009. In 2014, Vanessa served as Illinois Region V Jaycees District Director and Illinois Jaycees PMG Program Manager. Vanessa served the Illinois Jaycees as Programming Vice President in 2015, Administrative Vice President in 2016 and Membership Vice President in 2017. In 2018, Vanessa proudly served as the 87th President of the Illinois Jaycees. In 2019, Vanessa served JCI USA as COC Director and Co-Program Manager for TOYA. In 2021, Vanessa served as JCI USA National Vice President assigned to the area of Partnerships. Vanessa then went on to serve as JCI USA Chief of Staff in 2022, before running for Deputy National President and National President for 2024.
 

Vanessa was awarded the R. Bradley Trafton Memorial Award in 2014, 2015 and 2016 from JCI USA for being an outstanding state officer. In 2015 Vanessa was awarded JCI Senatorship #74430 by the New Baden Jaycees. Additionally, Vanessa is a member of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors.
 

Professionally, Vanessa earned her B.S. in Business Management from Colorado Technical University in 2013. She is currently employed as legal assistant at Bruckert, Behme & Long, P.C. in New Baden, Illinois. Vanessa and her husband, Mike, live in Okawville, Illinois. They enjoy spending time with their niece and nephew, bowling, trail riding in their all utility vehicle and Jayceeing with their home chapter.
