We are here to train\, mentor and develop your skillsets to give you the tools you will need to lead your states. You are not alone\, and this event gives you the opportunity to work together with others in your same position. You can then feel confident to set out on your #vision2020. We all have different challenges in our states\, but together we can collaborate to tackle them and make the seemingly impossible\, possible. \nREGISTER TODAY\n\nThis is a three-day experience that will provide extensive training opportunities to learn more about important topics:\n• Developing and enhancing your state plan of action (POA)\n• Leadership skills to lead your team\n• Your role in leading JCI USA\n• Membership strategies\n• Building strong state boards\n• Strategies for second-year Presidents \nJoin us near our national and international headquarters in Chesterfield\, Missouri\, just outside of St. Louis. Plan on arriving Thursday afternoon/evening for a welcome event starting at 8pm CST\, followed by programming through early Sunday morning until 10am CST. Registration\, training materials\, hotel accommodations and most meals are covered by the national organization. Attendees must provide their own travel arrangements and some meals. \n  \n\nDETAILS: \nRegistration and accommodations are FREE and covered by your national dues. Coming this January\, prepare to get our young active citizens to Washington\, D.C. \n  \n \nNorth American Academy | Washington D.C. | Jan 16-20\n \nThis will be held in Washington D.C. right near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport\, the Pentagon and right across the Potomac River where a mass majority of our historical national sites are located. \nAttendees will arrive Thursday evening and depart Monday morning. We have jam-packed plans for this exclusive leadership opportunity Friday through Sunday. \nThe concept is to bring the international aspect of JCI to our members right here in the United States. We are bringing in one of JCI’s top trainers to facilitate the weekend—Viktor Ómarsson of JCI Iceland. We will be pairing international attendees up with our JCI USA delegation for further understanding of the full potential of JCI and relationships you can create through our network. This experience will change your members’ life. \n  \nWhat to Expect in Your Academy Experience: During your time in Academy\, prepare to be paired up with international delegates to experience teamwork\, challenges\, workshops regarding real-world application skillsets\, impact and advocacy assignments\, leadership concepts and experiences that will truly immerse you in the science of connecting with others.
